TeleCare Celebrates 25 Years of Service

August 6th 2012 marked the 25th year of TeleCare services which began with 76 senior clients in the Edmonton area. Since then TeleCare has grown to over 4000 clients of all ages, living throughout Western Canada.

On September 8th 2012, at our 25th Anniversary celebration, TeleCare unveiled the TeleCare Hardship Fund. As our technology develops and is able to provide even more support, TeleCare is working to find a way to make these benefits available to those who may be unable to afford it.

The TeleCare Hardship Fund will provide qualified applicants with devices such as the flood detector to monitor a forgotten bath tub filling, a leaking hot water tank or the Cook Stop device that can prevent a forgotten burner from causing a house fire.

We are very proud to be able to offer this service through the generous support of donations we received at our anniversary event and various donations collected throughout the year. If you would like more information on the Hardship Fund or to make a donation to this fund, please contact us.

If I did not have the Good Samaritan TeleCare service, I'm sure the outcome might have been more serious and long-lasting. I remain a living ad for your excellent service.

I honestly believe if it wasn't for my son, your staff and TeleCare, I wouldn't be here today to write this letter.
