Volunteers Needed for Equipment Installation

Good Samaritan Society TeleCare provides personal emergency response systems to clients across Canada with the majority based in Alberta and BC.  We are looking to add to our small group of volunteers who work in the community to install our TeleCare equipment. The set-up is simple and consists of a land telephone line connection and a power outlet (similar to an answering machine).  Our volunteers also test the equipment with the client to ensure they are comfortable using it and all is working well.

Volunteers donate their time between the hours of 9-3pm, Monday through Friday. The typical volunteer shift is for approximately 2-3 hours, and can occur 1 to 12 times per month. We are very flexible and are happy to accommodate your availability.

We are looking for individuals who are comfortable with basic technical equipment, enjoy meeting new people and are looking to give their time to support those in need in your community.
